On May 17, 2025, we unveiled “Silhouette & Flowers” — a powerful exhibition held in the evocative space of the Stone Chronicle Museum in Baku.

This exhibition was a collaboration between artist Yusif Khalilov and the fashion house AKHAD, founded by Yusif’s childhood friend Lala Akhad. Together, they presented a fusion of floral art and couture, where some of the fashion pieces were not only inspired by flowers, but made of them.

The exhibition also featured Yusif Khalilov’s most recent visual projects — including his much-discussed “Dreaming of Bags” (2025) photo series, showcasing his signature blend of surrealism, floral design, and luxury symbolism.
One of the highlights of the event was the display of a replica of Yusif’s iconic 1.000.000 euro flower bouquet, a masterpiece that had previously drawn international attention.

The entire venue bloomed with thousands of locally grown flowers, generously provided by Azerbaijan Flowers Company, transforming the space into a living, breathing installation.

Every detail — from the designs to the layout — reflected a deep connection to nature, emotion, and memory. The event was brought to life by MISRA production, ensuring that every element — visual, floral, and performative — merged into one immersive experience.

Another centerpiece of the exhibition was “The Last Human #9”, a deeply symbolic artwork that Yusif personally brought from Amsterdam to Baku for this occasion. Presented for the first time in Azerbaijan, the piece received wide appreciation for its emotional depth and intricate construction.
